University professors Gary Berg and Richard Stenvick lead a trip to Costa Rica, but they plant themselves into the middle of a conspiracy involving GMO science and the world’s food crops. Harrowing adventure, imaginative technology, theological inquiry, gourmet food, and excessive coffee consumption combine in a lighthearted foray into the dangers of unrestrained corporate power and corrupted philanthropy.

This is my first novel. The story is based very loosely on a college cross-cultural trip in the early 1990’s that was plagued with transportation failures and environmental obstacles. Most of the characters were inspired by friends and family.
